This is something I put together at design camp at North Carolina State University this past summer when we were studying graphic design. We had to design playing cards, with a theme of a movie genre in mind. I chose a fairy tale/fantasy genre with romance and magic, and I thought it turned out pretty well.
Graphic design was my favorite activity at the camp pretty much, so I thought this was worth submitting.
I also must say that it was neat how in the course we didn't use technology at all, we just used construction paper, glue sticks, and magazine, king of like elementary school. I learned that in many fields, graphic design isn't all about websites and computers, like I thought. Graphic design has been pretty handy all throughout the 20th century, to design packages, beverage bottles, posters, magazines, and JUST lately, websites. I might actually consider a career in graphic design, now that I know a lot more about it.
